Community Africa Works

A working programme platform focused on helping communities translate skills, enterprise and local opportunity into stronger livelihoods.

Primary objective

To connect practical skills, enterprise support and community-led opportunity with stronger and more sustainable livelihoods.

From capability to opportunity

Community Africa Works is being developed as a programme platform through which Skills Sanctuary can connect practical learning, enterprise support, local partnerships and livelihood opportunities. The emphasis is not simply on completing training, but on helping skills lead somewhere useful: into work, enterprise, markets, resilience and stronger household livelihoods.

How the programme is intended to work

Build practical capability

Training, mentoring and applied learning centred on skills that can connect to real livelihood opportunities.

Strengthen the pathway after training

Enterprise, employability, market connections and partnerships that help participants move from learning into sustainable activity.

A programme record that can mature with the work

As programme documentation is consolidated, this profile will connect activities to verified locations, partner organisations, participant stories, results and learning resources.
