Impact

Impact should be more than activity counts

Training sessions, meetings and workshops matter, but they are not the final story. Skills Sanctuary is building an impact approach that asks what changed for people, enterprises and communities after the activity ended.

What we will track

People

Skills gained, confidence built, transitions into work or enterprise, and continued participation in economic activity.

Enterprise

Businesses started or strengthened, market access improved, income pathways created and resilience developed.

Community

Local systems strengthened, partnerships formed and community-led solutions that continue beyond a single project cycle.

Evidence first

As programme records are consolidated, verified figures, impact stories and reports will be published here. We will prefer honest, attributable evidence over decorative numbers that cannot be explained.

Stories from the field

The impact library will pair data with real stories from participants, entrepreneurs, trainers and communities. This will help partners and supporters understand not only what Skills Sanctuary does, but what that work means in practice.
